Voluntary efforts by industry and other stakeholders in the Internet marketplace are essential for ensuring that consumers – particularly children – have a safe environment in which to conduct activities in cyberspace. For this reason, USTelecom has approved best practices designed to help Internet Service Providers address the issues of online child pornography and online safety. Links to each of these best practices are provided below. In addition, USTelecom will be posting additional information and links to its website that will provide parents and caregivers with additional tools, information and resources to help better manage their children’s Internet use.
