White House’s Cybersecurity Executive Order Paves the Way for More Secure Networks

Background: Today, the White House issued an Executive Order, “Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure,” which outlines steps for improving the nation’s cybersecurity.

The following statement is from USTelecom CEO Jonathan Spalter:

“Securing America’s communications networks is vital to the U.S. economy and the White House’s Executive Order on protecting federal networks and critical infrastructure is a positive step forward in this significant effort.
