USTelecom Announces Additions to Policy & Advocacy; Government Affairs Teams

WASHINGTON, DC – USTelecom | The Broadband Association, a leading association of connectivity providers and innovators, today announced additions to its team in Washington.

Diana Eisner joins as Vice President, Policy & Advocacy;

Nicole Henry joins as Senior Director, Government Affairs.

USTelecom also announced the promotion of Hawley Stanton to Senior Director, Government Affairs.

“I am thrilled to welcome new team members Diana Eisner and Nicole Henry and to announce a well-deserved promotion for Hawley Stanton. They are talented, experienced and ready to help advance our shared broadband priorities in 2022 and beyond,” said USTelecom President and CEO Jonathan Spalter.

Diana Eisner, Vice President, Policy & Advocacy

Diana Eisner joins USTelecom from Frontier Communications where she served as Director, Federal Regulatory Affairs and helped develop the communications company’s regulatory strategy on broadband deployment, robocalls and cybersecurity, among others. Previously Eisner worked as an associate attorney at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and earned her JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Nicole Henry, Senior Director, Government Affairs

Nicole Henry joins USTelecom from the office of U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation. She served as a legislative aide and counseled Senator Peters on broadband, privacy, net neutrality, infrastructure, robocalls, 5G policy, financial technology and trade, among others. Henry is the co-chair of the Telecom, Tech and IP Task Force for Women in Government Relations and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

Hawley Stanton, Senior Director, Government Affairs

Hawley Stanton joined USTelecom in 2017 and works on the association’s federal legislative policy agenda. In her new role, she will focus on advocating member broadband, telecom and internet policy priorities. From 2014-2017, Stanton served on the staff of U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-OH), the current ranking member of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. She is a graduate of California State University-Fullerton.
