Background: Today, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai announced a pilot program to improve the agency’s transparency by releasing commission documents to the public before they are voted on by commissioners.
The following statement is from USTelecom President & CEO Jonathan Spalter:
“We support Chairman Pai’s move to provide greater transparency at the FCC. His initiation of a trial program to publicly release Commission documents before they come to a vote, so all those involved in a proceeding can see what is being proposed, is a significant process improvement.”
