Background: The Federal Communications Commission today approved an order that eliminates and streamlines outdated reporting obligations for providing international services.
This statement can be attributed to USTelecom CEO Jonathan Spalter:
“Today’s action by the FCC is another important step toward cutting needless red tape to benefit America’s broadband consumers. By jettisoning the need for decades-old reporting requirements, broadband providers can remain focused on the national priority of expanding, upgrading and investing in networks so every American has access to the opportunities broadband builds. This is a win for consumers and for common sense. ”
