Crown Castle’s Connected by Good program is committed to making a positive impact on the communities it serves. The program started in 2017 as an initiative to revitalize parks and give back. It has since expanded beyond parks, with the mission to improve public spaces where people connect, promote public safety, and advance access to education and technology.
From local office donations and volunteering at afterschool programs and digital literacy classes, to a company-wide day of service, Crown Castle’s teammates across the country continue to give back to the communities where they live and work.
Crown Castle has a national partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America called “Crown Castle Connects Youth to STEM Program” that aims to inspire the next generation in STEM. Over the next two years, the company will invest nearly $2 million in the partnership through hands-on employee volunteering and financial support.
“Access to education and technology can make an enormous impact on our youth to prepare them for the future. Through our Connected by Good program we partner with community organizations that are making a difference, and we are thrilled to kick off our new partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America this week with Crown Castle Clean-Up Days, where employees restored local Clubs so children will have improved spaces to learn and grow.”
– Jay Brown, Chief Executive Officer at Crown Castle
Crown Castle also supports local programs like the After-School All-Stars South Florida organization that celebrated Lights On Afterschool with a STEM showcase presented by Crown Castle.
